Detroit Public Television’s “One Detroit” team visited with North Corktown residents for a conversation at neighborhood staple Nancy Whiskey in March 2019. Oakland Housing’s Executive Director, Kate Baker, was proud to be invited by neighborhood leaders to join the conversation.
The intent was to shed light on issues that matter most to the community and all the work that its residents are doing to make it an even stronger neighborhood.
A short segment of the meeting on the weekly “One Detroit” news program Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. on DPTV (56.1). The segment will be repeated on Sunday at 9 a.m., or you can watch it on demand at One Detroit after it initially airs.
